K-On! TV Anime Official Guide Book: Sakurakō Keionbu Katsudō Nisshi (けいおん！TVアニメ公式ガイドブック 桜高軽音部活動日誌) is the sole official companion guide for the first season of Kyoto Animation's beloved 2009 anime series K-On!, published by Houbunsha in December 2009. Based on Kakifly's four-panel manga serialized in Manga Time Kirara, the series follows four girls at Sakuragaoka High School — Yui, Mio, Ritsu, and Tsumugi — who revive the school's Light Music Club and stumble their way toward becoming a real band. Directed by Naoko Yamada and produced by Kyoto Animation, Season 1 aired in Spring 2009 across 13 episodes and became one of the defining slice-of-life anime of its era, launching Ho-kago Tea Time as a genuine musical act with chart-topping singles. This guide is the only official print companion to that first season and is now out of print and scarce in collectible condition.
