In the world of A Certain Magical Index, magic and science collide in an urban landscape where advanced technology and supernatural forces coexist. In the city of Academy City, a place known for its scientific progress, Touma Kamijou is an ordinary high school student with an extraordinary power: the Imagine Breaker, a right hand that negates any supernatural ability it touches.
Touma’s life takes a dramatic turn when he encounters a mysterious girl named Index, a nun with an encyclopedic knowledge of magic who is being pursued by powerful magicians. As Touma becomes entangled in her dangerous situation, he must face off against ruthless magic organizations, secret societies, and other powerful espers. Alongside friends like the skilled esper Mikoto Misaka and the serious magician, Kanzaki Kaori, Touma must navigate a world filled with powerful enemies and dark secrets, all while protecting Index and trying to uncover the truth behind the mysterious magic world.
