In the world of online gaming, Aoba Oohashi is a seasoned player who has spent years leveling up in the game "Legendary Age." After forming a tight-knit group with other players, he begins to wonder if he’ll ever meet a real girl who shares his passion for gaming. His skepticism grows when, during an online match, he is told by a fellow player that she’s a girl—something Aoba finds hard to believe.
Ako Tamaki, a fellow player who reveals herself to be a high school girl in real life. To make things even more complicated, she has become so absorbed in the game that she starts to mistake her virtual persona for her real one. It’s up to Aoba to guide her through both the online and real worlds, while navigating the chaos that follows as they team up with their eccentric gaming friends.
