Anonymous Noise - Blu-ray

Nino Arisugawa has loved singing since childhood — two boys taught her that music could be a lifeline. Momo was the first, a neighbor who moved away without warning, leaving Nino with a promise: keep singing, and he'd find her again. Yuzu was the second, a boy with musical genius who also disappeared. Both told her the same thing before they left. Now Nino is starting high school, always wearing a surgical mask to protect her singing voice, and both of them are back — but neither is the person she remembered. Momo is avoiding her. Yuzu has founded a band called In No Hurry to Shout and written songs that are about her, but won't say so. Nino joins the band as their vocalist under the name Alice, singing with a power she barely controls, and the triangle between the three of them — childhood promise, present grief, artistic obsession, and competing forms of love — plays out across the music they make together.

Anonymous Noise is a 12-episode music romance series produced by Brain's Base, directed by Hideya Takahashi, written by Deko Akao, scored by Sadesper Record (NARASAKI / Watchman), and based on Ryoko Fukuyama's manga serialized in Hana to Yume under Hakusensha — the same magazine as Ouran High School Host Club and Fruits Basket. It aired on Tokyo MX, Kansai TV, and BS Fuji from April 11 to June 27, 2017. The series is notable for its integration of original songs performed within the narrative, and for Saori Hayami's performance as Nino — Hayami sings the in-show tracks performed by the fictional band In No Hurry to Shout as well as voicing the character. The Sentai Filmworks Complete Collection Blu-ray was released June 5, 2018 with an English dub produced under ADR director Shannon Reed, and includes a Drama CD as bonus content alongside Japanese promos and commercials. Now out of print.
