Baki - Blu-Ray

Baki Hanma has trained his entire life with a single goal: to surpass his father, Yujiro Hanma — known as the Ogre, the most powerful and feared martial artist alive, a man whose existence is less a person than a force of nature that governments quietly accommodate. Baki's victories have built him a reputation in the underground fighting world. That reputation attracts attention. Five death row convicts — Dorian, Spec, Doyle, Sikorsky, and Yanagi — have escaped prisons across the world and converged on Tokyo with a shared purpose: to find defeat, to experience loss, to feel something they have never felt before after lives of absolute dominance through violence. They are not interested in money, territory, or ideology. They want to lose a fight, and they believe Baki's circle is where it might happen. The series follows the mounting collisions between these five and Tokyo's concentration of elite fighters, including karate grandmaster Doppo Orochi, yakuza enforcer Kaoru Hanayama, Chinese kenpo master Retsu Kaioh, and judo master Goki Shibukawa — while Baki works toward the confrontation with his father that defines everything he is.

Baki is a 26-episode martial arts action series produced by TMS Entertainment, directed by Toshiki Hirano, and based on Keisuke Itagaki's manga — the second series in the Baki franchise, specifically adapting the Most Evil Death Row Convicts saga. The series was released on Netflix worldwide beginning December 18, 2018.

Sentai Filmworks licensed the series for North American home video and released the Complete Collection Blu-ray on May 25, 2021 — 26 episodes across 3 discs, 650 minutes, with a new English dub produced by Studiopolis alongside the original Japanese audio.
