From the 2023 anime series Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Swordsman Romantic Story comes Aoshi Shinomori, the coldly formidable former leader of the Oniwabanshu, as part of Tamashii Nations' S.H.Figuarts line. Four interchangeable face plates and a set of his signature twin kodachi sword parts allow for a full range of his defining combat poses. Bonus replacement facial expression parts for the separately sold Kenshin Himura figure are also included.
Rurouni Kenshin is a beloved manga series written and illustrated by Nobuhiro Watsuki, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1994 to 1999. The series follows the wandering swordsman Himura Kenshin across Meiji-era Japan. Aoshi Shinomori, the driven and emotionally complex former leader of the elite Oniwabanshu spy corps who becomes one of Kenshin's most formidable adversaries, is one of the franchise's most compelling characters — a man consumed by his desire for strength who gradually finds his way back to something more human.
