Thousands of years in the future, the Earth has been swallowed whole by the Megastructure—an endless, chaotic labyrinth of steel, concrete, and high-tech infrastructure that constantly expands without human oversight. Human civilization has been pushed to the absolute brink of extinction, hunted mercilessly by hostile Safeguard security programs and predatory Silicon Lifeforms. Amidst this silent, oppressive dystopia wanders Killy, a quiet loner armed with a devastating Gravitational Beam Emitter. Humanity's last remaining hope lies within a salvaged data disc recovered by the brilliant engineer Cibo, containing critical information that could halt the Megastructure's expansion and restore order to the world.
Based on the cult-favorite cyberpunk manga by Tsutomu Nihei (Knights of Sidonia, Biomega) and produced by Group TAC (Street Fighter II V), BLAME! Ver.0.11: Salvaged Disc by Cibo is a experimental, atmospheric ONA (Original Net Animation) collection. Directed by Shintaro Inokawa (Cyborg 009) with sound production by Masayoshi Okawa (Spirited Away), this obscure 6-episode release captures Nihei’s signature visual minimalism, vast industrial scale, and bleak cyber-noir tone. Released on DVD domestically by Tokyo Shock / Media Blasters, this rare standalone release is a prized collector's item for hardcore fans of dark sci-fi and industrial animation.
