In 1966, at the American Yokota Air Base in Japan on the brink of the Vietnam War, a brooding and mysterious girl named Saya works for a secret government agency that destroys demons. Posing undercover as a student at the base's high school, she is tasked with hunting Chiropterans—vampiric, bat-like monsters that shift into human form. Armed with a deadly katana and superhuman strength, Saya engages in violent, bloody swordfights to eliminate the hidden menace just before Halloween. As the conflict reaches a boiling point, an innocent school nurse is drawn into the gruesome chaos, and Saya must slice through the base's infection before the monsters claim the night.
