The Time Bombed Skyscraper: A mysterious caller warns Conan that bombs have been planted in several of the city's most iconic buildings, set to detonate on a countdown schedule. As Conan races to identify the bomber and predict the next target, an elaborate pattern in the locations begins to emerge — and the identity of the culprit points toward a motive rooted in architecture and betrayal. 

The Fourteenth Target: A series of attacks on people whose names contain numbers — in countdown order from fourteen to one — points to a killer targeting a specific list. The final intended target is someone Conan cannot allow to be hurt. Both films showcase Conan's deductive abilities at full throttle against ticking-clock threats. 

The Time Bombed Skyscraper is the first Detective Conan theatrical film, directed by Kenji Kodama and released in Japan on April 19, 1997, with a runtime of 94 minutes. The Fourteenth Target is the second film, also directed by Kenji Kodama, released April 18, 1998, with a runtime of 99 minutes. Both films were written by Kazunari Kouchi and scored by Katsuo Ohno. FUNimation released both films together as a double feature DVD, collecting the franchise's first two theatrical films on a single disc — making it the only North American physical release of these two specific films.
