Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate 3DS

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow — Mirror of Fate is a side-scrolling action-adventure game for the Nintendo 3DS developed by MercurySteam and published by Konami, released in North America on March 5, 2013. It is a direct sequel to the 2010 console reboot Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, set within that game's continuity and bridging the gap between it and its sequel.

The story unfolds across four playable characters spanning multiple generations of the Belmont bloodline, gradually revealing how Gabriel Belmont's transformation into Dracula echoes through his descendants.

The chapters follow Simon Belmont, grandson of Gabriel, who storms Castlevania after Dracula's forces murder his mother. A mysterious white-haired stranger aids him through the castle, and the truth of that stranger's identity runs deeper than Simon knows. Alongside Simon's story, the game tells the tale of Trevor Belmont, Gabriel's son, who discovers his own parentage only to fall fighting his father. Dracula, unable to destroy what remains of his humanity, seals Trevor away under the name Alucard. Alucard's own chapter follows his awakening with no memory of who he was, piecing together his origin while working to bring down Dracula alongside Simon. Gabriel's fate across the centuries ties all three threads together.

Gameplay returns to the series' classic side-scrolling structure after the 3D combat of Lords of Shadow, with each character offering different weapons and abilities. The castle is built as a labyrinth explored across all four protagonists, with areas revisited from new angles as the timelines overlap. An HD version of the game was later released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Nintendo 3DS games are region-locked. This is a North American copy and will play on North American 3DS systems only.
