The world is under attack by mysterious entities known as Spirits, and only one man can save it: Shido Itsuka. But Shido’s method of dealing with these powerful beings is anything but conventional. Instead of fighting them, he must make them fall in love with him!
In Date A Live I, Shido, a seemingly normal high school student, gets caught in a world-altering crisis when Spirits appear, bringing destruction in their wake. However, Shido soon discovers that the key to neutralizing the threat posed by these Spirits is not through violence, but through romantic affection. With the ability to seal their powers by making them fall in love, Shido must date, win the hearts of, and seal the powers of each Spirit.
As the first Spirit, Tohka Yatogami, crashes into Shido’s life, he finds himself pulled into an increasingly complex web of love, magic, and danger. With each new Spirit, new challenges arise, and Shido must navigate his growing feelings while trying to save the world.
