Dragon Ball Z: The Movie - Resurrection 'F' Blu-ray & DVD

Frieza is dead. He has been dead for years. This is not an obstacle. Two loyal soldiers — Sorbet and Tagoma — use the Dragon Balls to resurrect their emperor, who emerges from the process in pieces and must be reconstructed in a regeneration tank. The experience of being cut to pieces by Future Trunks, killed by Goku, and spending years in a personal hell has not mellowed Frieza. It has, however, given him a goal: four months of intensive training for the first time in his existence, producing a golden transformation that surpasses Super Saiyan Blue in raw power output. He arrives at Earth with an army of a thousand soldiers. Gohan shows up. Piccolo shows up. Krillin, Master Roshi, and Tien show up. The army is not the problem — the army is a warm-up. The problem is Golden Frieza himself, and Goku and Vegeta are currently training with Whis on Beerus's planet and will need a few minutes to arrive.

Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' is the nineteenth Dragon Ball theatrical film and the second personally supervised by series creator Akira Toriyama — a direct follow-up to 2013's Battle of Gods and the direct source material adapted into Dragon Ball Super episodes 14–26. Directed by Tadayoshi Yamamuro, the film premiered in Japan on April 18, 2015 and earned over $8.4 million during its North American theatrical run — setting records for a FUNimation theatrical release at the time. Released on Blu-ray + DVD Combo Pack and DVD on October 20, 2015 by FUNimation. The Blu-ray Combo Pack includes over 50 minutes of extra features including "The Voices of Dragon Ball Z" in-the-booth making-of featurette and "The Return of Dragon Ball Z" cast interviews and red carpet footage. A Collector's Edition with exclusive packaging and four holographic Frieza Force propaganda postcards was also released. Note: the bare-bones DVD edition does not include bonus features.
