Dragon's Crown Pro for the PlayStation 4 is the definitive remaster of Vanillaware's beloved 2013 co-op action-RPG — a stunning hand-painted fantasy brawler that surpassed one million copies across PS3 and Vita and now arrives on PS4 with fully reworked 4K artwork and a brand-new live orchestral soundtrack. The kingdom of Hydeland holds a legendary artifact known as the Dragon's Crown — a relic of immeasurable power sought by adventurers, sorcerers, and tyrants alike. Players choose from six character classes and descend into labyrinthine dungeons to find it, fighting through wolves, dragons, skeletons, and colossal bosses in one of the most visually remarkable games of its era.

Each of the six playable classes — Fighter, Dwarf, Amazon, Elf, Wizard, and Sorceress — plays entirely differently, with distinct attack ranges, speeds, and special abilities that make each a fresh experience. Loot drops from defeated enemies and discovered treasure chests supply a constant stream of new weapons and armor to evaluate and equip, and the town hub between dungeons offers shops, quest boards, and the ability to recruit fallen warrior bones found throughout the dungeons as temporary NPC companions.

Up to four players can explore and fight together in local couch co-op and online multiplayer. The PS4 version includes cross-play and cross-save compatibility with existing PS3 and Vita versions, all patches and DLC from the original, and the complete Storyteller Voice Pack. The newly recorded Hitoshi Sakimoto orchestral soundtrack — Sakimoto is known for his work on Final Fantasy XII and Tactics Ogre — replaces the original and elevates an already atmospheric game into something genuinely special.

Developed by Vanillaware and published by Atlus, Dragon's Crown Pro released in Japan in January 2018 and in North America on May 15, 2018. The Battle-Hardened Edition is a limited Western-exclusive release including the game, an ornate steelbook case, and seven collectible skill cards representing each of the six character classes plus the common skill set.
