Dreamcast Collection - Xbox 360

Dreamcast Collection for the Xbox 360 is a compilation of four of Sega's most celebrated Dreamcast titles, remastered in HD with widescreen support, Xbox Achievements, and online leaderboards. The collection brings together a broad cross-section of the Dreamcast's personality: a platformer, an arcade racer, a rhythm game, and a fishing simulation, each a beloved example of Sega's creative output at the turn of the millennium.

Sonic Adventure is Sonic's first fully 3D adventure, following six playable characters across interconnected story campaigns, with the Chao raising minigame and the vast Station Square hub adding substantial depth beyond the main stages. Crazy Taxi puts players behind the wheel of an obnoxious yellow cab in a relentlessly energetic open-city arcade racer, picking up fares and flooring it to their destinations before time runs out, with the Offspring and Bad Religion soundtrack blasting throughout. Space Channel 5: Part 2 is the sequel to Sega's beloved rhythmic dance game, following intergalactic reporter Ulala through increasingly wild musical showdowns against the Rhythm Rogues, featuring a David Bowie cameo as the mysterious Space Michael. Sega Bass Fishing is a tournament fishing simulation with motion control support and competitive timing mechanics that made it a surprising hit as a Dreamcast launch peripheral showcase.

Developed and published by Sega, Dreamcast Collection released for Xbox 360 on February 22, 2011. The collection received mixed reviews primarily for its modest game selection — many felt more definitive Dreamcast titles were passed over — but each individual game was praised on its own terms. The game is backwards compatible on Xbox One. Space Channel 5: Part 2 was later delisted digitally in December 2024 alongside several other titles in the collection, making the physical Xbox 360 disc the only way to own a copy of that game on console.
