Kosaku Hata is a teenage student at Tamo Agriculture School with a single-minded obsession: the world-famous pop idol Yuka Kusakabe. When Yuka suddenly announces her shocking retirement from the entertainment industry, Kosaku falls into a deep, soul-crushing depression. But his gloom instantly evaporates when a new transfer student walks into his agricultural class—none other than Yuka herself, now enrolling under her real name, Ringo Kinoshita! As Kosaku and his quirky classmates try to help the former idol adjust to the messy, hands-on realities of farm life, romantic rivalries sprout and absurd agricultural antics ensue.
