Hitomi Kanzaki is a fifteen-year-old high school girl with a passion for running and a mysterious gift for tarot card readings. When a young swordsman named Van Fanel appears on her school's track field — mid-battle with a dragon — she is swept away with him to Gaea, a mystical world where Earth hangs visible in the sky above.
