Gain Ground SX is the enhanced PC Engine Super CD-ROM² remake of SEGA’s arcade / Mega Drive tactical action game Gain Ground. This version features newly arranged CD-quality music, additional voice and sound enhancements, redrawn visuals, and re-balanced stage layouts unique to the PCE edition.

The game blends top-down action and strategy, placing you in large combat arenas where you must guide a squad of characters across enemy-filled maps. Each rescued ally becomes a playable unit, each with their own weapons, ranges, and movement styles — creating a tactical puzzle out of every stage.

You can either:

• Successfully escort your team to the exit
