In Genji Tsushin Agedama, you play as Agedama Genji, a young 4th-grade student from "Planet Hero" sent to Earth by his father to undergo superhero training during his summer vacation. Armed with the power of "Kiai" and accompanied by his transforming computer companion, Wapuro, Genji must protect Morisoba City from the wealthy Rei Kuki (the villainess Onyomiko) and her grandfather, who use a "Monster-Cooker" to unleash various chimera monsters in a bid for world domination. Throughout the game’s six colorful stages, players navigate auto-scrolling levels, utilizing charged Super Attacks and invincibility-granting rolls to defeat bizarre enemies while seeking out Genji's crush, Ibuki Heike, to replenish health.
