Gun Gun Pixies - Nintendo Switch

Gun Gun Pixies for the Nintendo Switch is a wildly eccentric third-person shooter and 3D platformer developed by Compile Heart, in which two tiny alien girls — Usamaeru and Kamerieru — travel to Earth from their home planet of Pandemo on a top-secret mission. Their world is on the brink of collapse due to widespread social problems, and the only hope is to study how humans interact and form relationships with one another. Their chosen research site: a women's college dormitory, which they infiltrate in miniaturized form, sneaking around undetected among the towering legs and everyday lives of the unsuspecting residents.

Gameplay blends stealth, platforming, and shooting across giant dorm rooms packed with oversized furniture to climb and hide behind. Players fire Happy Bullets — non-lethal projectiles with positive effects like relieving a tired girl's stiff shoulders — to pacify residents and gather behavioral data without being spotted. Collecting large coins hidden around each level and completing mission objectives unlocks new weapons, scopes, costumes, and gadgets for the Pixies to equip. Stealth is critical: getting caught triggers a chase sequence, and staying hidden earns better venture point bonuses for precision shots.

Originally developed for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in Japan, Gun Gun Pixies made its Western debut on Nintendo Switch published by PQube in 2020. The Day One Edition comes in a special collector's box and includes the game alongside a high-quality artbook packed with concept drawings, gorgeous key artwork, and all characters illustrated in alternate outfits.
