When space aliens killed Noriko Takaya's father, she swore she would become a space pilot. At the Okinawa Girls' Space Pilot High School she is looked down on as the daughter of the admiral who lost, and her lack of talent keeps her from piloting a machine. Then the two candidates headed into space are announced, and her name is right next to her idol Kazumi Amano. Noriko has to find out whether her hard work earned the spot, or whether Coach Ohta has other reasons for selecting her.
Aim for the Top!: Gunbuster is a six-episode OVA produced by Gainax and the commercial directorial debut of Hideaki Anno. This Blu-ray is the first to include an English dub.
