Haven't You Heard? I'm Sakamoto is a 12-episode comedy series plus an OVA episode produced by Studio Deen, directed by Shinji Takamatsu — the director of Gintama and School Rumble — and based on Nami Sano's manga serialized in Enterbrain's Harta magazine. It aired on MBS from April to July 2016 and is one of the purest executions of a one-joke premise in anime comedy, sustained entirely by the escalating absurdity of scenarios and the deadpan commitment of the production. Hikaru Midorikawa, the voice of Tamahome in Fushigi Yugi, Green Legend Ran, and numerous other roles in this catalog, voices Sakamoto. The Premium Edition Box Set released in North America by Sentai Filmworks on November 21, 2017 is a 5-disc Blu-ray + DVD combo with an extraordinary physical extras package.
