Heaven’s Lost Property: Forte ~2nd Season~ Blu-ray & DVD

The second Angeloid to fall from the New World is Nymph — smaller than Ikaros, sharp-tongued, and initially sent to retrieve the runaway Ikaros rather than serve Tomoki. She doesn't manage it, and ends up staying. The third is Astraea — physically powerful, catastrophically stupid, and deployed by the sinister Synapse organization with more lethal intent than her predecessors. As more Angeloids fall into Tomoki's orbit and the nature of the New World above their town becomes clearer, the comedy escalates alongside a growing unease about what Synapse actually wants with their missing units — and what it means for beings engineered without emotions to begin developing them anyway.

Heaven's Lost Property: Forte is the 12-episode second season, produced by AIC A.S.T.A., directed by Hisashi Saitō, written by Yūko Kakihara, and aired on TV Saitama, Chiba TV, and other channels from October 1 to December 17, 2010. Due to concerns from the Japanese licensing company regarding Blu-ray reverse importation, FUNimation released Forte only as a DVD set in North America on March 20, 2012. The season continues directly from Season 1 and covers the Astraea and Chaos arcs, leaving the Hiyori arc for the theatrical film.
