 Tomoki Sakurai wants one thing: a peaceful life. He is a cheerful, unambitious high school boy whose idea of happiness is sleeping under the cherry tree by the river and dreaming pleasant dreams. His childhood friend Sohara karate-chops him whenever he gets too perverted, which is frequently. His upperclassman Sugata is an eccentric new-age researcher obsessed with a floating anomaly above their town he calls the New World. Then something falls from the sky: Ikaros, an Angeloid — a beautiful, winged mechanical being who claims to have no emotions, no wishes, and no purpose except to serve whoever holds her master card. Tomoki, for reasons directly related to his personality, immediately begins requesting underwear from her wish-granting abilities. The series escalates from there, juggling Tomoki's determined perversion, Sohara's growing feelings for him, Sugata's investigation of where Ikaros actually came from, and the gradually emerging darkness behind Ikaros's origins and the world she fell from.

Heaven's Lost Property is a 13-episode romantic comedy produced by AIC A.S.T.A., directed by Hisashi Saitō, written by Yūko Kakihara, scored by Motoyoshi Iwasaki, and based on Suu Minazuki's manga serialized in Monthly Shōnen Ace. It aired on TV Saitama, Chiba TV, and other channels from October 4 to December 27, 2009, with simulcasts from Crunchyroll. Licensed and released in North America by FUNimation on DVD and Blu-ray on December 20, 2011. The Blu-ray release was also available as a Limited Edition with art box.
