Heaven’s Lost Property the Movie: The Angeloid of Clockwork Blu-ray

A new Angeloid falls into Tomoki's town — Hiyori Kazane, who appears entirely human, attends their school, and has a quiet devotion to Tomoki that she expresses through helping him with his schoolwork and cooking for him. Hiyori's warmth is genuine, her feelings are real, and she fits into their group in a way that suggests she has always been there. The problem is that Hiyori is not supposed to exist. The Synapse has noticed her, and what they intend to do about a rogue Angeloid who has gone native and fallen in love is not gentle. Tomoki has always wanted a peaceful life. Getting one may cost more than he anticipated.

Heaven's Lost Property the Movie: The Angeloid of Clockwork is an 88-minute theatrical film directed by Tetsuya Yanagisawa, adapting the Hiyori arc of Suu Minazuki's manga — the storyline that Season 2 deliberately skipped to leave for the film. The film premiered in Japanese theaters on June 25, 2011, and was acquired by FUNimation for North American home entertainment release. FUNimation released the film on February 26, 2013. The film serves as a companion to Season 2 and functions as an emotional centerpiece of the franchise — the Hiyori arc is widely considered one of the most affecting storylines in the manga.
