Heavy Fire: The Chosen Few for the Nintendo 3DS is a fast-paced on-rails arcade shooter that puts players boots-on-the-ground in the middle of intense modern combat across 24 progressively challenging missions. Set against the backdrop of war-torn Afghanistan, players move through dense jungles, hostile villages, and war-ravaged urban environments — engaging enemies on foot, from inside armored vehicles, tanks, and helicopters. The on-rails format keeps the action relentless and focused: the camera automatically advances once all nearby threats are eliminated, letting players concentrate entirely on aiming and firing rather than navigation. An exclusive multi-path cover system lets players choose where to take cover, adding a tactical layer to the arcade-style gameplay. The game takes full advantage of the 3DS hardware with stunning stereoscopic 3D visuals that push the action right off the screen, and dozens of achievements and medals reward sharpshooting and mission mastery. Based on Polish developer Teyon's hit Heavy Fire franchise, The Chosen Few is the series' dedicated 3DS entry and one of the more action-packed military shooters available on the platform.
