Hellsing Ultimate - DVD

For over a century the Hellsing Organization has protected England from the undead. Its ultimate weapon is Alucard — a vampire of immeasurable power who serves Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing, the ice-cold aristocrat who inherited command of the organization at thirteen and has been in absolute control of it ever since. When a vampire priest begins creating an army of artificial vampires in a small English village, Alucard is sent to destroy them. He encounters Seras Victoria — a police officer caught in the crossfire — and offers her a choice: die, or accept the blood.

Seras becomes Alucard's fledgling, navigating her transformation from human to vampire while Alucard dismantles anything that gets in his way with terrifying efficiency and evident enjoyment. Opposing them is Father Alexander Anderson of the Vatican's Iscariot Organization — a regenerating Catholic warrior priest who regards Alucard as an abomination to be destroyed, making the two natural enemies in a world where Protestant England and the Vatican are as much at war with each other as with the supernatural threats they both ostensibly fight. 

Hellsing Ultimate is a 10-episode OVA series produced by Geneon Entertainment and animated across three studios — Satelight (OVAs I–IV), Madhouse (OVAs V–VII), and Graphinica/Kelmadick (OVAs VIII–X) — with directors Tomokazu Tokoro (OVAs I–IV), Hiroyuki Tanaka (OVAs V–VII), and Yasuhiro Matsumura (OVAs VIII–X), and screenplay by Yōsuke Kuroda (Trigun, Gungrave, Tenchi Muyo!) for the first four episodes and Hideyuki Kurata for later episodes.

Based on Kouta Hirano's manga serialized in Young King OURs. Each episode runs approximately 50 minutes, is scored by Hayato Matsuo with the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, and adapts one volume of the manga — making each volume a self-contained feature-length installment of escalating scope and violence.
