Infinite Stratos - Blu-Ray

Ten years ago, Japan developed the Infinite Stratos — a powered exoskeleton of such overwhelming military capability that its deployment forced the world's nations into a global treaty banning its use as a weapon. The IS can only be piloted by women. This fact reshaped global power dynamics entirely, elevating women to dominant social and political positions worldwide. Ichika Orimura is fifteen years old and the only known male in the world capable of operating an IS — a discovery made accidentally during his entrance exam. The Japanese government immediately enrolls him at IS Academy, an elite international school for IS pilots that is otherwise entirely female. His childhood friend Houki Shinonono is there. So is the aggressive British representative Cecilia Alcott, the Chinese representative Lingyin Huang, the German representative Laura Bodewig — who hates him on arrival — and the French representative Charlotte Dunois, who is hiding something. The series follows Ichika navigating academy life, international IS tournaments, and the considerable romantic chaos generated by being the only boy surrounded by elite pilots who all have opinions about him.

Infinite Stratos is a 12-episode action harem comedy produced by 8-Bit, directed by Yasuhito Matsumiya, written by Fumihiko Shimo, scored by Masaru Yokoyama, and based on Izuru Yumizuru's light novel series.

The Sentai Filmworks Complete Collection was released April 10, 2012 across 3 discs — 12 episodes plus the Encore OVA episode — with a bonus music CD, character commentaries, behind the scenes featurette, Radio IS program, and clean opening and closing animations.
