Satoru Takahashi is a high school biology teacher with a unique and burning passion: he has always been fascinated by "demis"—short for demi-humans, or mythological beings like vampires, succubi, and dullahans who live alongside regular humans. Despite his intense curiosity, Tetsuo has never actually met a demi in person—until he lands a job at Shibasaki High School and discovers that several students (and a fellow teacher) are demis themselves! Eager to understand their daily struggles, physical traits, and social challenges, Takahashi-sensei begins conducting friendly one-on-one "interviews" with his demi students, helping them navigate teenage life, high school drama, and their unique supernatural conditions.
