Koutarou Satomi is looking for a bargain, and he finds the deal of a lifetime: Room 106 of the Rokujyoma house is only 5,000 yen a month! It seems too good to be true, and as it turns out, it is. Koutarou barely has time to unpack his boxes before a series of "unexpected guests" start staking their claims to his tiny apartment.
First, a ghost girl named Sanae wants the room for her spectral haunt. Then, a magical girl named Yurika bursts in to protect the space from evil. Soon after, an underground inhabitant named Kiriha arrives to claim the surface world starting with Room 106, followed by a space princess named Theiamillis who needs the apartment to complete her royal trial. With everyone refusing to back down, Koutarou finds himself forced to share his six-tatami living space with a spectral spirit, a magical protector, a subterranean warrior, and a galactic royal. What follows is a hilarious and chaotic "invasion" of his everyday life, where the battle for territory slowly turns into an unexpected family dynamic.
