Iron Maiden is the self-titled debut album from the band that helped define the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, released in 1980 with Paul Di'Anno on lead vocals. Recorded quickly and cheaply at Kingsway Studios in December 1979, the album's raw, punk-inflected energy set it apart from the band's later, more polished work, with tracks like "Running Free" and "Phantom of the Opera" laying the groundwork for the sound Iron Maiden would build on for decades.
This is the 2014 reissue on Parlophone, cut from the original analogue master tapes and packaged in artwork identical to the original 1980 release, with a black poly-lined inner sleeve. Remastered and lacquer cut at Abbey Road Studios by Sean Magee, pressed by Optimal Media in Germany.

Vinyl records are almost always shipped in wide whiplash mailers with a cardboard insert and a sheet of bubble. Opened/Pre-owned records are tested before shipment to insure good quality. Small corner dings on the record jacket are not allowed for exchanges.
