KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! 2 - Blu-Ray

Kazuma is arrested. Following the explosion that destroyed a noble's mansion — an explosion caused by Megumin, as all explosions in the vicinity are — he is hauled before a corrupt magistrate on charges of treason and property destruction. His friends' attempts to rescue him are underwhelming. He is eventually saved by Darkness revealing her noble bloodline, which creates new problems involving an arranged marriage that nobody wants and everyone handles badly. Between that and Aqua discovering a hot springs town that has been cursed by a Devil King general, Megumin's ongoing daily explosions, and the general momentum of their collective dysfunction, the second season maintains the first's commitment to everyone making reasonable decisions that produce unreasonable outcomes.

KonoSuba Season 2 is a 10-episode second season plus one OVA produced by Studio Deen, directed by Takaomi Kanasaki, and aired in Japan from January to March 2017. The season continues directly from Season 1 and introduces new antagonists including Sylvia and Hans from the Devil King's army while deepening the ensemble's character dynamics.

Discotek Media released the Complete Second Season + OVA on Blu-ray on February 23, 2021 — a single disc, 1080p AVC, with both English dub and Japanese audio with English subtitles. A SteelBook edition followed September 27, 2022.
