KonoSuba: God's Blessing on this Wonderful World! Love For These Clothes of Desire! is a visual novel for the Nintendo Switch developed by MAGES. Inc and published by PQube, released in North America on February 7, 2024. Based on the KonoSuba light novel and anime series, the game finds Kazuma and his party — Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness — stumbling onto a cursed slate during one of their characteristically chaotic adventures. Contact with the slate afflicts party members with a personality-reversing curse, flipping their usual selves into something entirely unfamiliar. The only way to break each curse is to fulfill whatever desires it has awakened, and the answer in every case turns out to involve a new outfit.
Rather than a straight visual novel with branching dialogue choices, the game structures its progression around a work schedule. Three-day intervals let you assign party members to job shifts or take on guild requests, with solo tasks handled by individuals and larger requests requiring the full party. Guild requests supply the materials needed to craft the outfits that break each curse. Wiz's shop carries certain items as well, but its stock rotates after each chapter, so materials can become unavailable if they're not picked up in time. Each completed outfit unlocks a new CG image in the gallery.
The game is praised for how faithfully it captures the voices and dynamics of the anime cast. Darkness in particular, whose usually masochistic personality is inverted by the curse, is a highlight. The humor and tone stay consistent with the source material throughout. Nintendo Switch games are region-free and will play on any Switch worldwide.
