The Senior is a university student who has spent his entire college career hopelessly in love with "The Girl with Black Hair," a whimsical underclassman who seems to drift through life with effortless grace. On one epic, neon-soaked night in Kyoto, he vows to finally confess his feelings by constantly "bumping" into her. But as the night stretches into what feels like a lifetime, the duo finds themselves swept up in a series of increasingly surreal encounters—from an underground book fair governed by a literal god of used books to a massive, guerrilla theater performance on the back of a moving truck. In a world where the flow of time is subjective and the drinks are legendary, the Senior must brave eccentric strangers and seasonal shifts to finally catch up to the girl of his dreams.
