Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete is a fully remade and expanded version of the classic RPG, following the journey of Alex, a young boy inspired by the legendary Dragonmaster Dyne, as he sets out with his friends to uncover ancient secrets and confront a rising evil threatening the world of Lunar. This Saturn edition features redrawn character art, newly animated cutscenes by Studio Junio, orchestrated music, enhanced storytelling, and deeper character development. Character designs are by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, known for his work on Neon Genesis Evangelion and other Gainax productions, giving the cast a distinctive late-’90s anime look that helped define the remake’s identity. Directed by Takeshi Miyaji, the game carefully restructures the original story while preserving its core charm, emphasizing stronger character arcs and more cinematic presentation. Players explore towns, dungeons, and a richly detailed overworld while engaging in strategic turn-based battles and uncovering the mysteries surrounding the Goddess Althena and the Four Dragons.
