Magna Carta 2 - Xbox 360

Magna Carta 2 for the Xbox 360 is a Korean-developed action RPG from SoftMax set in the war-torn Lanzheim Continent, a land split by a bitter civil war between the Northern and Southern forces. The story follows Juto, a young man with no memory of his past who lives peacefully until Northern Forces sweep through and destroy his home, killing his friend Melissa. Joining the Southern Forces' Counter Sentinel Unit to find the man responsible, Juto gradually discovers that his amnesia conceals a power of devastating magnitude, and that the truth of who he is runs deeper than anyone around him realizes.

The combat system blends real-time exploration with a stamina-based battle mechanic. Each character has a stamina meter that depletes with every attack, and once it runs out they are temporarily defenseless, panting and unable to swing. Players control one party member at a time and can switch freely between three characters mid-battle to chain combos and share the workload, with well-timed switches enabling longer attack sequences. Each character's weapon type completely changes their moveset and available skills. Special moves called Overlimit attacks require executing timed button inputs to trigger. A Kamond system lets players enhance weapons using materials dropped by enemies.

Powered by Unreal Engine 3 with character designs by celebrated Korean illustrator Hyung-Tae Kim, Magna Carta 2 has a distinctive visual style that blends photo-realistic environments with highly stylized manga-influenced character art. Developed by SoftMax and published by Namco Bandai in North America on October 13, 2009. It remains an Xbox 360 exclusive and has never been ported to any other platform.
