Ichitaka Seto is a shy, ordinary high school boy with one extraordinary problem: he’s hopelessly in love with Iyori Yoshizuki, a classmate who seems completely out of reach. Katsura developed I”s after the success of Video Girl Ai, wanting to portray a more grounded and realistic teenage romance without supernatural elements. He specifically aimed to show “the agony of youth” through authentic misunderstandings and emotional vulnerability.
