Mitsuboshi Colors, also known as Three Star Colors, is a slice-of-life comedy anime that follows three energetic elementary school girls—Yui, Sat-chan, and Kotoha—who form a self-proclaimed "secret organization" called the Colors to protect the peace of their town, Ueno, in Tokyo. Operating out of a hidden base in the local park, the girls embark on various imaginative "missions," which typically involve solving minor, real-world problems or getting into playful mischief. Their adventures often involve interacting with the quirky local townsfolk, including the grumpy policeman Saitou, who is a frequent target of their pranks, and the kindly general store owner "Pops," who provides them with gadgets. The series captures the innocent fun and boundless imagination of childhood as the trio enjoys their carefree days, making everyday life in Ueno more interesting for the entire community.
