In the near future, an accidental leak of an experimental virus permanently alters human brain chemistry, granting humanity the ability to see supernatural entities known as "Phantoms." While most Phantoms are harmless, those born of dangerous human emotions cause chaotic disruption. To keep the peace, children born after the outbreak develop unique supernatural powers to seal or eliminate trouble-making entities. High school student Haruhiko Ichijo, who summons and seals Phantoms through his sketchbook, leads Hosea Academy's Neural Error Corrections Club alongside martial artist Mai Kawakami and fairy Phantom Ruru. Joined by Phantom-eater Reina, sound-manipulator Koito, and doll-master Kurumi, this eccentric team takes on supernatural threats while discovering the strange secrets behind their altered world.
