Nicktoons MLB 3D for the Nintendo 3DS is a wildly fun arcade baseball game that pits fan-favorite Nickelodeon characters against real Major League Baseball superstars in an epic cross-universe showdown. Players can mix and match a roster of 27 iconic Nicktoons — including SpongeBob SquarePants, Invader ZIM, Aang and Katara from Avatar: The Last Airbender, Danny Phantom, Ren and Stimpy, Dudley Puppy, Kitty Katswell, and more — alongside 175 real MLB players with fully updated rosters covering all 30 clubs including the then-brand-new Miami Marlins uniforms.
The 3DS version is the most content-rich release in the lineup, featuring more stadiums and gameplay modes than any other platform version, including surreal Nicktoons-themed ballparks alongside authentic MLB venues. Flyballs and fastballs leap off the screen in full stereoscopic 3D, and local wireless play supports head-to-head multiplayer. Exclusive to the 3DS version are two additional playable characters: Jimmy Neutron and Hiro Mightypaw from the Nickelodeon online game Monkey Quest. Commentary is provided by Perch Perkins from SpongeBob SquarePants and GIR from Invader Zim, and over 50 collectible in-game baseball cards with character bios round out the package. A perfect pick for younger players and nostalgic Nickelodeon fans alike.
