No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise for the PlayStation 3 is an enhanced HD port of SUDA51's beloved 2007 Wii action game, bringing the surreal misadventures of Travis Touchdown to PS3 for the first time with 720p visuals, DualShock 3 support, and optional PlayStation Move motion controls. Travis is a broke otaku living in a run-down motel in Santa Destroy, California, who blows his life savings on a beam katana from an internet auction and ends up taking a job as an assassin to pay his bills. One kill leads to membership in the United Assassins Association, and Travis finds himself ranked 11th in the country with no option but to fight his way to the top, taking on increasingly bizarre and memorable opponents.

Combat revolves around Travis's beam katana, swung with either the DualShock 3 analog sticks or PlayStation Move motion controls, with wrestling throws, dodge rolls, and the critical death blow finisher rounding out the moveset. Between ranked assassination missions, Travis earns money through part-time jobs across Santa Destroy, taking on side gigs like mowing lawns, collecting coconuts, and dumpster diving, spending earnings on new training, weapons, and clothing. A dark comedy runs through every aspect of the writing, blurring otaku culture, grindhouse cinema, and deranged video game self-awareness into something uniquely Suda51's.

The PS3 port adds performance improvements over the Wii original, an online leaderboard, and new content including two additional difficulty modes and a new score attack mode called Mild Mild S, a new enemy mode called Sweet Sweet S, and new boss content. Developed by feelplus and released in North America on August 16, 2011, published by Konami. A direct sequel, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, followed on Wii, and the series continued with No More Heroes III on Nintendo Switch in 2021.
