Oniai - Blu-ray

After six years of living separately following the death of their parents, twins Akito and Akiko Himenokoji are finally reunited when Akito arranges for them to live together again during high school. Akito's plan for a quiet family life immediately encounters one significant obstacle: Akiko is deeply, explicitly, and entirely unashamedly in love with her older brother. She has been waiting six years for this reunion and has no interest in hiding it. Akito has absolutely no romantic feelings for his sister and spends the series making this clear with consistent patience while also managing the student council dormitory where they live — alongside three other girls who compete for his attention with varying degrees of subtlety. Arashi Nikaido is the aggressive, cheerful president who deploys enthusiasm as a weapon. Anastasia Nasuhara is the beautiful half-Finnish student whose apparent aloofness is a performance. Haruomi Ginbei Sawatari is Akito's childhood friend who presents as masculine and gets flustered when he sees through it. Akito's stepsister Arisa arrives as housekeeper and immediately joins the competition. Akiko views all of them as existential threats to her extremely specific ambitions.

OniAi — short for Onii-chan dakedo Ai sae Areba Kankei Nai yo ne! (As Long as There's Love, It Doesn't Matter If He Is My Brother, Right?) — is a 12-episode romantic comedy produced by Silver Link and directed by Keiichiro Kawaguchi, and based on Daisuke Suzuki's light novel series published under Media Factory's MF Bunko J label. It aired on AT-X and Tokyo MX from October 5 to December 21, 2012. The series also includes six bonus OVA episodes released on the Japanese Blu-ray volumes. The FUNimation S.A.V.E. Blu-ray Complete Series was released as a subtitle-only Region A set — no English dub was produced.
