Princess Rouge: Legend of the Last Labyrinth DVD

Yusuke Mizuki is a perpetually tardy high school student who one morning nearly collides with a girl falling out of the sky. She lands on him, unhurt but completely without memory — she knows only her name: Rouge. Kindhearted and flustered, Yusuke takes her home and promises to help her figure out where she came from. The situation rapidly becomes more complicated than either expected: Rouge's two sisters, Kaige and Meige, arrive in royal armor claiming she is a princess of a hidden magical realm, and powerful armored enemies who want to destroy her family are not far behind. What Rouge is, why she fell to Earth, and what the enemies want with her begins to emerge — 

Princess Rouge: Legend of the Last Labyrinth is a two-episode 1997 OVA in the tradition of Oh My Goddess! — a gentle fantasy romance built around an amnesiac girl from another world and the ordinary boy trying to protect her, with action and sisterly complications layered in. Episode 1 was animated by J.C. Staff and Episode 2 by Front Line, which produces some visual inconsistency between the two episodes.

The series never received a DVD release in Japan, making the North American Anime Works DVD a format-exclusive release. The original concept was created by Aoi Takeuchi, a musician and composer best known as the creator of the Voogie's Angels franchise.

Released on DVD in North America by Media Blasters (Anime Works) on June 20, 2000.
