Sara is a brilliant psychotherapist with a penchant for both men and women, as well as a special agent for the ministry, who sometimes even flies in by helicopter to deal with difficult cases. Her latest assignment takes her to a women’s college where there are allegedly signs that one of the young ladies is secretly working for an illegal escort service. But that’s not the only problem plaguing the red-haired lady with the enormous breasts, as her rival Erika is jealous of her success and sex appeal. Erika is, therefore, willing to use any means to put obstacles in the way of her arch-enemy and outdo her.

Adapted from the adult manga by Chihiro Harumi, this OVA follows Dr. Ryo, a charismatic psychiatrist whose unconventional therapeutic methods place him in the middle of unusual and often exaggerated psychological cases. As he counsels troubled patients—from students to professionals—Ryo navigates emotional roadblocks, hidden motives, and surreal comedic scenarios.

Presented with the stylized, high-gloss look typical of late-’90s adult OVAs, Private Psycho Lesson mixes melodrama, tongue-in-cheek humor, and psychological parody.
