Hotline Miami Collected Edition for the PS Vita is a high-octane, top-down action game compilation that immerses the player in a brutal and surreal criminal underworld in an alternative 1989 Miami. The game follows a mysterious protagonist (and later, multiple characters in the sequel) who receives cryptic messages on their answering machine, compelling them to carry out a series of violent massacres against the Russian mafia. The player must strategically plan and execute these "jobs" using a variety of weapons and unlockable animal masks, with the fast-paced, one-hit-kill gameplay pushing the limits of the player's reflexes and morality as the twisting, non-chronological narrative and unsettling atmosphere force one to question their own thirst for bloodshed and grip on reality.
