Rock Band 4 for the PlayStation 4 is the fourth mainline entry in Harmonix's music game series, released in 2015 after a five-year hiatus. The base game ships with 65 songs spanning rock history from the 1960s through the 2010s, covering artists including Avenged Sevenfold, The Black Keys, Fleetwood Mac, Iggy Pop, Judas Priest, and many others. A Guitar Freestyle Mode allows improvised guitar solos using the whammy bar and effects rather than scripted note charts, adding a performative element absent from previous entries.
Rock Band 4 is backward compatible with the large library of over 1,500 Rock Band DLC tracks available on PS3, allowing players who purchased songs on the previous platform to transfer them to PS4. Most Rock Band 3 wireless instruments from the PlayStation 3 era are also compatible without additional adapters, and Rock Band 4-specific instruments released by Mad Catz and PDP are fully supported. The game requires at least one instrument controller to play — guitar, bass, drums, or a microphone — none of which are included with the disc-only version.

Cassette tapes & CD's are shipped in bubble mailers.
Hats, toys, and figures are shipped in boxes.
Clothing are shipped in poly mailers.
