In the sleepy border town of Rigbarth, mysterious events are unfolding that affect the runes that govern the balance between humanity and nature. As the newest recruit for the peacekeeping organization SEED, you are tasked with protecting the town by rounding up rowdy monsters and investigating the strange phenomena threatening the land. Rune Factory 5 continues the series’ beloved tradition of blending deep RPG exploration with life-simulation mechanics, offering a sprawling 3D world where you can grow crops, fish in local waters, and build lasting relationships with a vibrant cast of townsfolk.

The gameplay features an action-heavy combat system where you can team up with townspeople or tamed monsters to explore vast dungeons and take down powerful bosses. Between adventures, you’ll manage your own farm, utilizing the "Farm Dragon" system to cultivate crops atop massive flying beasts.
