Sekirei TV Animation Official Fanbook: Allurement (TVアニメーションセキレイ オフィシャルファンブック Allurement) is the official companion fanbook for the first season of the Sekirei anime television series, produced by Seven Arcs and published by Square Enix in October 2008 to coincide with the broadcast run of the show. Based on Sakurako Gokurakuin's manga serialized in Young Gangan, Sekirei follows Minato Sahashi, a twice-failed university entrance examinee who becomes entangled in the Sekirei Plan after a superpowered girl named Musubi literally falls from the sky and into his life. The Sekirei Plan is a secret battle royale orchestrated by the Izumo Inn corporation, in which 108 superpowered beings called Sekirei are bonded to human partners called Ashikabi, and fight each other until only one Sekirei and Ashikabi pair remains. The series ran for 12 episodes across Summer 2008 on Tokyo MX and affiliated stations, and the fanbook captures the full first season in a single collector's volume. Note: this book contains mature content including partial nudity and is intended for older teen and adult collectors.
