Rin Tsuchimi is an ordinary high school student living in a world where humanity shares its existence with gods and demons - the barriers between realms having opened long ago. Both the King of the Gods and the King of the Demons have moved in next door to Rin, and their daughters - Sia and Nerine - have both declared their love for him. Rin is kind and loyal, already quietly devoted to his childhood friend Kaede who has taken care of him since his parents died. Then there's Asa, his sharp-tongued senpai, and Primula, a mysterious young girl from the demon realm. The series begins as a brightly colored harem comedy - five girls competing for one oblivious boy - and then, deliberately and with more commitment than most of its peers, pivots into something considerably darker and more emotionally complicated in its second half. Several of the girls' routes escalate into genuine psychological territory, and the finale departs significantly from the comfortable resolution the early episodes suggested.

Shuffle! is a 24-episode romantic comedy drama produced by Asread, directed by Naoto Hosoda, written by Masashi Suzuki, scored by Acchorike, Kazuhiko Sawaguchi and Minoru Maruo, and based on Navel's 2004 adult visual novel. FUNimation licensed the series in January 2007 and released it across six individual DVD volumes from February 26 to September 9, 2008 (FN-01500 through FN-01505). Volume 6 included a collector's artbox sized to hold all six volumes and a pair of Lisianthus' "god panties" - a prop-replica underwear item referencing a recurring joke in the series. This set includes all six volumes with the artbox and the panties included. FUNimation later released a complete series box set on March 31, 2009.
