Late one night on a country road, Tun and Jane accidentally run down a mysterious pedestrian. They flee the scene and return to their lives in Bangkok, but life soon turns anything but normal. Nightmares haunt Jane's dreams, and Tun, a photographer, notices strange spectral figures appearing in his work. When one by one Tun's closest friends begin to die, he and Jane must unravel the mystery before it unravels their lives.
Shutter is a 2004 Thai supernatural horror film co-directed by Banjong Pisanthanakun and Parkpoom Wongpoom in their feature debut. It was a major hit in Thailand and was remade in Hollywood in 2008. This release is part of Tartan's Asia Extreme line.
