Slayers: Revolution R (Season 4 & 5) - Blu-ray & DVD

Lina Inverse is back. So is Gourry, Zelgadis, Amelia, and the ever-present threat of Lina blowing something up that probably shouldn't be blown up. This time a government inspector named Wizer Frayon has been assigned to apprehend Lina for destruction of property on a scale that has become a bureaucratic problem — a thankless job that immediately begins going wrong for him.

The more pressing complication is Pokota: a small, stuffed-animal-looking creature of extraordinary magical power who shares Lina's reckless approach to destructive spellcasting and is getting her blamed for his work. Behind Pokota's chaotic exterior is a genuine tragedy — he is the prince of Taforashia, a kingdom that was sealed away to protect its people from a plague, and he has been searching for a way to break the seal ever since.

In Season 5 (Evolution-R), Lina and company must find Hellmaster's Jar — the artifact that may be the key to saving Taforashia — while a resurrected threat from deep in the franchise's history complicates everything with a form that turns out to be deeply uncomfortable for everyone involved. 

Slayers Revolution and Slayers Evolution-R are the fourth and fifth seasons of the Slayers franchise, produced by JC Staff — the studio behind the original three seasons — directed by Takashi Watanabe returning from Seasons 1–3. They were produced as a two-part arc sharing a continuous storyline and are released together in North America as one product.

Megumi Hayashibara, who voiced Lina Inverse across all five seasons, also performed all opening and ending themes for Seasons 4 and 5.
